{"id":380,"date":"2023-07-12T06:37:27","date_gmt":"2023-07-12T06:37:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/baca.my\/?post_type=teacher&#038;p=380"},"modified":"2023-07-12T06:37:27","modified_gmt":"2023-07-12T06:37:27","slug":"liam-yeates","status":"publish","type":"teacher","link":"https:\/\/baca.omrkhyym.com\/en\/teacher\/liam-yeates\/","title":{"rendered":"Liam Yeates"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Liam holds a PGCE in teaching Fine Art from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gre.ac.uk\/\">University of Greenwich<\/a>, London, a Masters\u2019 and a Degree in Visual Performance, from <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Dartington_College_of_Arts\">Dartington college of Arts<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As well as spending his initial teacher training year at UAL, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.arts.ac.uk\/colleges\/wimbledon-college-of-arts\">Wimbledon College of Arts<\/a>\u2019 Foundation course, Liam also taught Art and Design at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.southwark.ac.uk\/\">Southwark College<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lewisham.ac.uk\/\">Lewisham College<\/a> in London. Having worked in further as well as adult education, Liam brings over twelve years\u2019 worth of experience as an arts and design educator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Liam joined the BACA A level team in 2019, initially as a Fine Art tutor. Previous to his time at BACA he has acquired a well-rounded, practical and theoretical skillset working within Arts communities, business co-operations and charity organizations. Liam brings an in-depth industry insight into his classroom practice at BACA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Liam has been a practicing artist for over 30 years. Working within different mediums, such as drawing, painting, installation, sculpture, video and performance art. His approach to teaching Fine Art encourages the student to have an open-minded attitude whilst questioning their creative process.
